Rōninby Rigobert Dittmann, Bad AlchemyHubert Bergmann, piano, electroacoustic | Elmar Guantes, double bass, electronics BERGMANN GUANTES Ronin ( mudoks records 014-1190 ) : Bergmann, this is the Überlinger pianist Hubert Bergmann, Guantes the Munich bassist Elmar Guantes . The two have known each other since the 80s, together with Patrice Heral or Udo Schindler. On the other hand, sets Guantes in Occhio Quartet with Limpe Fuchs, Zoro Babel and Hans Wolf its splash of color . Rōninby Rigobert Dittmann, Bad AlchemyHubert Bergmann, piano, electroacoustic | Elmar Guantes, double bass, electronics BERGMANN GUANTES Ronin (mudoks records 014-1190): Bergmann, das ist der Überlinger Pianist Hubert Bergmann, Guantes der Münchner Kontrabassist Elmar Guantes. Die Beiden kennen sich schon seit den 80ern, im Zusammenspiel mit Patrice Heral oder Udo Schindler. Andererseits setzt Guantes auch im Occhio Quartet mit Limpe Fuchs, Zoro Babel und Hans Wolf seine Farbtupfer. Mit dem HB-Mann, der gleich zu Beginn sein Instrument rabiat und rasant von allen Seiten traktiert, macht er den Klopfspecht, nur um gleich danach ganz sonor die dicken Saiten in Schwingung zu versetzen, so dass nun Bergmanns Pianonoten kristallin leuchten. Aber mit dem Wechsel zu Bassbogenschlägen wird gleich wieder der Korpus und das Holzige seines Spielzeugs bewusst gemacht. Kakophone Kratzer über Bass- und Klaviersaiten wechseln mit aufblühenden Bassklängen und bedächtigen Anschlägen, hektische Arpeggios mit sublimen Drones wie Pollocksches Action Painting mit der wilden Irrationalität und den dezisionistischen Gesten auf Bildern von Arshile Gorky oder Franz Kline. Elektronisches Zischen, Geplätscher oder metalloides Sirren unterstreicht das Motto: 'Non Zenz'. Zwei herrenlose Samurai beschreiten, gestärkt durch 'Sa Ke' und Wei-Zen-Bier, Manga-do, den Weg des Mangas, von martialischen Holzschnitten zu Akira und Dragon Ball. Sägeloops geraten in pianistische Strudel, Guantes' Martial Art-Percussion rückt selbst die Tricks eines Clayton Thomas in ein bescheideneres Licht. Das knurrige und scheppernd trillernde Finale durchschneidet als Weißer Hai die Jazzuntiefen. Fürwahr, ob sie klingen - im Radio oder auf Festivals - liegt nicht am gold ihrer schwerter / allein am anruf ihres verborgenen namens. [BA 75 rbd] |
